Drew Wiltberger: Marketing Intern, Summer 2022

Education:
Ball State University, IN (2023)
Major: Telecommunications – Concentration in Digital Video Production
Minors: International Studies, Media Promotion & Management
Carroll High School, IN (2019)

Performing Arts Background/Involvement:
I played in a lot of different ensembles in high school – I played tuba in our marching and concert bands, as well as playing trombone in our show choir band. Currently, I march baritone in the Pride of Mid-America Marching Band at Ball State!

What has been your favorite part of your internship? Why?
I’ve loved getting to know the marketing department! Everyone on this team is incredible in so many ways, and I have so many good things to say about all of them. However, I’ve also really enjoyed getting to develop my video production skills in such a unique environment, while also being given the opportunity to learn entirely new skillsets as a part of the larger marketing team.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work and music?
In addition to marching baritone during the school year, I also act as Project Manager for an on-campus creative agency as well as Executive Producer for another video-centered student organization, both of which I love doing! However, during my free time I really enjoy working out, photography and videography, and playing video games.

What are you most proud of?
I’m really proud of the level of care I have for my creative work, my work ethic, and my creative problem-solving capabilities.

What is something you hope to accomplish or become throughout your life?
I would love to end up as a video producer or motion graphics editor one day!

Thank you for a great summer, Drew!
