Kaitlyn Brown: Participant Relations Intern, Summer 2022

Education:
Hospitality and Tourism Management – Purdue University Fort Wayne (2023)
New Haven High School (2018)

Performing Arts Background/Involvement:
I grew up in theatre and even began my college journey as a theatre major. My favorite role I ever played was the Wicked Witch of the West in the musical Wizard of Oz! I also take a dance class with a best friend on Saturday mornings when we can! Being able to still surround myself with the arts even as an adult is important to me.”

What has been your favorite part of your internship? Why?
My favorite part has been getting to work alongside such great people. Working with others who are passionate about what they are doing is very uplifting and drives me to work harder. You can see the impact they are creating just by saying the name Music for All around people.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work and music?
“In my free time, I love spending time with my girlfriend, friends, and family! Most importantly I love cuddling up with my three cats and watching Halloween movies!

What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my risk taking. In the past year I have pushed myself to be better and take more risks!

What is something you hope to accomplish or become throughout your life?
I hope to grow in my career and create safe places for kids to express themselves and grow in their art.

Thank you for a great summer, Kaitlyn!
