[Editor’s note: This post of ticketing policy details is more current than any previous post on the day of the Muncie Regional.]

Bands of America is grateful that “Mother Nature” allowed completion of the entirety of the Preliminary Competition at the Muncie Regional. We were not as fortunate during Finals. Due to extreme weather conditions, Finals were cancelled before the performances commenced. By rule the preliminary results became the final results of the competition.

The overriding ticketing policy for Music for All/Bands of America events is that tickets are “non-refundable.” Nevertheless, where extraordinary circumstances, like severe weather, cause the cancellation of all or a substantial portion of an event, Music for All has established refund polices for that event and offered full or partial refunds as appropriate.

Following are Music for All’s policies concerning ticket refunds for the Muncie Regional:

Cooperative Tickets (issued to bands) – No refund

Day-Pass – $9 refund

Adult Finals Ticket – $18 refund

Military or Senior Finals Ticket – $15 refund

Student Finals Ticket – $11 refund

Since 2013 has proven to be an extremely “weather challenged” fall and the fiscal impact on Music for All so far (from Monroeville, Austin and Muncie) has been cumulative and substantial. We request that our patrons note that the costs of these events (stadium rentals, stadium personnel, judges’ fees and other expenses, etc.) were still incurred and paid by Music for All and will negatively impact MFA and its ability to sustain support for a number of educational outreach and advocacy initiatives.  As such, we invite you to consider foregoing any refund and donate the value of the refund to Music for All. If you choose to donate your refund, Music for All can provide you with an acknowledgement of your charitable contribution for your tax records. Bands of America fall program results are the principal driver for MFA’s teacher and student training initiatives and advocacy programs supporting music in our schools.

To request a refund, please send your name, address, and copy of your ticket to:
