Robin Clendening is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and joined Music for All as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2019. Robin graduated from Indiana University, is a Certified Public Accountant, and has almost 20 years of experience in Accounting and Finance in for-profit and non-profit environments.
Robin was inspired at an early age to explore music by both family and music educators. Although she tried a couple of band instruments and took several years of piano lessons, she found her true passion was singing and discovered Show Choir in high school. She has spent the past few years supporting her kids as a Choir Booster Mom at Avon High School. She has served in various roles including Treasurer, Silent Auction Chair, and Vice President of Spirit and Morale. During the show choir competition season, you will find her backstage or on the sidelines helping with backdrops or fixing costumes. She currently lives in Avon with her husband, Rob and son, Hayden. Her oldest child, Ren is currently residing in Bloomington and attending Indiana University.
As someone who blossomed in music programs growing up, Robin’s passion is for every student to have the opportunity to find a love for music. It is not often that you find a position where you can combine both your professional knowledge and personal passions, but for Robin, Music for All is that place.
