Ren Clendening (They/Them): Events Intern, Fall 2023

Education:
Indiana University Bloomington, 2025
Major: Human Development and Family Studies; Minor: Social Welfare Advocacy

Performing Arts Background/Involvement:
I did choir throughout my life and especially in high school. I was in both of my high school’s show choirs and concert choir. I also enjoyed participating in the school musicals. I, unfortunately, don’t currently participate in the arts officially, but I do enjoy playing the guitar and piano for fun at home.

What are you most looking forward to in your internship? Why?
Traveling to different states and helping be part of making lasting memories for students. Also, finally experiencing the hype of Buc-cee’s gas stations that some people have raved about.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work and music?
I enjoy playing cozy videogames (like Stardew Valley and the Sims 4), puzzles, board games, listening to podcasts or niche video essays, and doing anything crafty. I also love spending time with my best friends and our cats.

What are you most proud of?
My cat, Nickel

What is something you hope to accomplish or become during your life?
