Run, Walk, or March in Support of Music for All
Long before the first note is played at Lucas Oil Stadium, the journey to Grand Nationals is already underway.
It begins at Music for All Summer Camp and continues through early morning rehearsals, late-night planning sessions, prop construction, long bus rides, and weekend performances. Students, educators, parents, volunteers, and Music for All staff all play a role in bringing each show to life. Every performance represents thousands of unseen moments of hard work.
The road to Grand Nationals is not measured only in miles traveled. It is measured in early mornings, late nights, sacrifices, determination, and a shared commitment to something bigger than ourselves.
The Every Step to Grand Nationals Virtual 5K celebrates that journey.
As you run, walk, or march 3.1 miles, you are honoring the dedication of the students, educators, families, volunteers, and supporters who make the marching season possible. Just as every performer relies on a team behind them, your participation helps ensure that more students and educators have the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed through music and beyond.

Virtual 5K Details
1. Register for $35
Your registration includes a commemorative finisher medal and supports Music for All’s mission to create, provide, and expand positively life-changing experiences through music. Proceeds help fund scholarships, educational programs, professional development, and outreach initiatives.
Participants may register individually or as a team. Prefer to skip the medal? You may opt out during registration, and your entire registration fee will be directed to Music for All.
2. Join the Strava Community
Connect with fellow participants through our Strava Club.

4. Complete Your 5K
Complete your 3.1 miles between November 1–15 from wherever you are.

Finisher medals will be mailed in November.
