More than 30 members of the Bands of America Honor Band, who will perform in the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade®, met for the first time in June during the Music for All Summer Symposium, presented by Yamaha. The students were enrolled in various camp divisions and met for a special lunch gathering for TOR honor band members, as well as for students interested in applying for select open spots.

Speakers included Bob Buckner, director of the BOA Honor Band; David Starnes, program coordinator; Eric Martin, President and CEO of Music for All. Members had the opportunity to meet several other honor band and Music for All staff.

Honor band members gathered for the first official BOA Honor Band group photo after the luncheon.
