Dan Potter is an instantly recognizable broadcasting personality in the marching arts. You might know him from Bands of America Championships, Drum Corps International, or a number of podcasts featuring marching band.

When he’s not reporting on a marching show, Dan is a morning radio host for station KRMG based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dan has been in broadcast radio for 30 years and counting. His achievements in the broadcast space were recently recognized with the prestigious Marconi Award for Medium Market Personality of the Year.

Aside from his broadcast work, Dan is also an active member in the Tulsa community. Every year, he hosts the “Stories of Lights” radio show which highlights inspiring stories from local Make-A-Wish kids. The show has transformed into the largest revenue stream for Make-A-Wish Oklahoma. Because of Dan’s commitment and dedication to Make-A-Wish, he was the first ever “Community Volunteer of the Year Award” recipient. Moving forward, the award will be called the “Dan Potter Community Volunteer of the Year award.”

Music for All is grateful to have such a dedicated and passionate broadcaster as an integral part of the Music for All family. Congratulations, Dan!
