INDIANAPOLIS ─ Music for All has elected a new member to its Board of Directors, Dr. Stephen Marshall, of Johnson City, Tennessee.

Dr. Marshall is a professor in the Department of Media and Communication at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) as well as the chief marketing officer for the ETSU Research Corporation. Before academia, he worked for global marketing research firm Nielsen and supported media agencies with a focus on advertisement effectiveness and Spanish speaking audiences. Stephen received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida.

Dr. Marshall has extensive history in research and consulting with companies like Adobe, Coca-Cola, Texas Pete, Glory Foods, Pal’s Sudden Service, Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association, and the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. Besides research, Stephen is known for his innovative and collaborative leadership style. He is also a thought leader that advocates for higher education to drive industry workforce development outcomes. He has the first Digital Marketing Institute accredited program in the country and is the originator and director for the innovative Brand Storytelling Certification in Brand Film.
