INDIANAPOLIS, December 5, 2024 – Music for All announced today that Jeremy Earnhart has resigned from his position as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. “He leaves with our thanks for his leadership and achievements during the time he’s been with us,” said Doug Pileri, Chairman of the Board of Music for All. “We wish him success in the future.”
Earnhart joined Music for All as Chief Operating Officer in 2018, was named President in February 2020, and assumed the role CEO in April 2020 at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. He played a pivotal role in guiding the organization through the pandemic and its recovery with the post-pandemic return of its live events. Prior to joining the staff, he served on the Music for All Board of Directors and was a band director and fine arts administrator whose bands participated in Music for All programs.
The Board of Directors will initiate a search for Earnhart’s successor, but until his successor is named, Debbie Asbill, currently Executive Vice President, Marketing and Communications, will serve as interim CEO.
“I, as well as some other members of our Board, will provide guidance as needed,” Pileri said, “but Music for All has a talented and capable staff with a proven record of success. I have full confidence in their ability to continue to achieve our mission: to create, provide, and expand positively life-changing experiences through music.”
